The Product Manager is responsible for new product development, product line growth and the day-to-day management of initiatives within the product line.

  • Own and manage the Product Life Cycle process, including owning product initiatives, identifying opportunities, developing and executing project plans
  • Ability to see & define the big picture, but execute & implement tactical deliverables
  • Be the SME of assigned product lines, including program goals/objectives, customer needs and requirements, competitor offerings, market requirements, and product messaging
  • Work in cross-functional teams to implement initiatives, including with:
  • Train on your product(s), promote new features/functionality, create rep promotions/contests, and gather product feedback from front-line reps
  • Create plans, product messaging, key value props, and target markets
  • Define product/program pricing and product promotions/rebates
  • Credit Team, to assess program approval rates and identify opportunities to increase program and transaction approval rates
  • Build product roadmap and improve customer experience by providing product release requirements
  • Support Product Strategy leadership in identifying new opportunities to increase product sales and increase customer adoption, including identifying new features or value-adds
  • Work with internal and external customers to gather product feedback to identify product gaps and areas of improvement
  • Create sales enablement tools for reps to use during the sales process
  • Establish, monitor, and report on product performance
  • Identify and manage integration partners
  • Over time, become the day-to-day owner of several products, with strategic input from management

  • 5+ years’ product management experience
  • Bachelor’ s degree in business, marketing, economics, or quantitative discipline with outstanding academic performance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills; demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects with limited management oversight, including timelines, tasks, teams, group dynamics, etc.
  • Able to effectively manage multiple moderate-sized projects and priorities at the same
  • time
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform analyses and draw insights from data
  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B marketing or market research preferred; Pragmatic
  • Marketing certification experience a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Wrike, etc.) a plus, but not required
  • Tableau and/or Alteryx experience highly valued
  • CRM (e.g., experience a plus, but not required
  • Financial Services, credit card, or payments industry experience a plus, but not required
