SQL Reporting Analyst

Summary: This individual will work with the leadership team to assist in the design, development and execution of reporting strategy and work as system administrator for all systems owned within the department. This individual will play a key role in the assessment and implementation of any new business systems for the Credit and Collections departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and maintain various relational databases to support reporting and informational needs within in the department. Create front-end applications and reports for end-users to view and manage information. Analyze data for accuracy, integrity, and quality. Manage security for all reporting databases.
Work as a system administrator. This would require trouble-shooting system issues as well as being top level support to the department and vendors in working to resolve system issues.
Use creativity to add automation to the department utilizing both technology and business knowledge. Responsible for improving knowledge, skill levels and or job performance on an individual basis. May serve as a top-level contributor on other projects within the department, such as quality assurance and training, on an as needed basis
Supervision of other personnel not required in this position.

Bachelor degree in Finance or related field preferred and 5+ year’ s credit and/or collections experience. Project coordination experience required. Formal training or experience with Excel, Power Point, Access, SQL Server, VBA and Python.
Detail oriented with excellent writing skills and oral communication skills. Strong organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information and work with all levels of management. Must be self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Must be analytical and have a strong strategic thought process. Must possess excellent monitoring, training, coaching and counseling skills.
