Director of Marketing

The Sr. Director, Marketing is an integral leadership role and will be responsible for driving Product Positioning, Lead Generation and Marketing Strategy to support sales.  The Sr. Marketing Director will own strategic and tactical implementation of both online and offline programs and work with the internal lead generation team.

 

These newly created marketing programs will accelerate the growth of the pipeline and corresponding revenue conversion for targeted, new business sales opportunities, new strategic partnerships and sales into the existing customer base, as well as to create a greater market awareness of new messaging.

 

The Sr. Director, Marketing will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing campaign, campaign content, customer marketing programs, coordinating with overall shared inside lead generation team, as required, plus providing consistent reporting and analysis as to the effectiveness of targeted campaigns and applying the necessary adjustments to programs to continually nurture leads through the pipeline. 

Main Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and manage the paycard, prepaid and any new LOBs marketing plan with timelines, associated costs and measurable outcomes
  • Establish and drive B2B2C marketing strategy
  • Increase market presence, beyond historical payments space
  • Define and segment key markets, determining target audiences and “ optimal” prospects
  • Create marketing campaigns, and contribute both content and design for these programs targeting HR, Payroll and C-level staff in large corporations/partners
  • Define target list of prospects based on market sizing and regional business plans, how to become the go to vendor in targeted segments
  • Work with President to ensure alignment with overall Prepaid/Paycard strategy
  • Create marketing automation programs, email campaigns, press releases, sales collateral, video content, whitepapers and other content required to deliver program success
  • Develop targeted workplace marketing programs for over 3, 000 customers
  • Procure new case studies through networking and nurturing relationships with existing customers and account managers
  • Manage and optimize online marketing campaigns/activity
  • Employ social media to develop the ecosystem
  • Design and distribute email campaigns to targeted audiences
  • Generate, monitor, score and track leads
  • Plan and organize customer-, partner-, and prospect-facing events and Webinars
  • Brief and coordinate suppliers, external agencies, PR agency, freelance journalists, and creative design agencies if required
  • Increase PR in all territories through press releases, professional bodies and journalists

The Ideal Candidate
  • B2B marketers, B2B2C major plus
  • Previously partnered with sales teams to drive revenue through lead and demand generation
  • Expertise in enterprise software or like business services, human capital experience a plus
  • Customer marketing experience
  • Built programs for channel partners
  • A minimum of 8 years of Marketing experience within the broader TMT/Business Services/Human Capital/Fintech space
  • The ability to expand the role, think out of the box
  • Experience planning, creating, and executing e-mail marketing campaigns
  • Experience using social media for branding and led generation
  • Exposure to working with and managing external vendor / partner relationships
  • Must possess high levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm, and have initiative and commitment
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, etc.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, plan, and prioritize own workload and meet deadlines
  • Creative with a solutions-oriented focus
  • High self-motivation with a sense of urgency
  • Entrepreneurial with open mindset
  • Salesforce knowledge extremely helpful
  • Bachelor' s degree required; MBA preferred
