As an Operational Technology Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of our clients' industrial technology systems. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of OT systems, including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, industrial control systems (ICS), and other critical infrastructure.

Operations Technology Leader Job Description:
As an Operational Technology Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of our clients' industrial technology systems. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of OT systems, including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, industrial control systems (ICS), and other critical infrastructure.
Operations Technology Leader Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in operational technology management or a similar role, preferably in an industrial or critical infrastructure environment.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, ICS, PLCs, and other industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and technologies for OT.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or ISA/IEC 62443 are a plus.
Operations Technology Leader Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Technology System Management
- Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of OT systems, including SCADA, ICS, and other industrial technology platforms.
- Ensure the availability, integrity, and security of OT assets, minimizing downtime and reducing vulnerabilities.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead a team of OT technicians and engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize team performance
- Define clear roles and responsibilities within the team and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
3. Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Establish proactive maintenance schedules and monitor the health of OT systems to prevent failures and disruptions.
- Implement monitoring tools and processes to detect and address anomalies and security threats promptly.
4. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure the availability of necessary components, software updates, and support services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align OT objectives with business goals.
5. Compliance and Security
- Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to OT security.
- Implement security measures and protocols to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
6. Budget and Resource Management
- Develop and manage the OT department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
