AI Delivery Director – Sales Opportunity
We are seeking an AI Delivery Director for Sales to join our newly formed AI Center of Excellence. This is not a theoretical role - we need someone who has successfully implemented AI solutions that drove measurable sales results and can do it again as a part of our organization.
Our leadership has identified sales enhancement as a critical area where AI can drive significant value. We need someone who can take proven AI approaches and rapidly implement them across our diverse portfolio of businesses, from fleet payments to corporate payables to lodging solutions.
What You Will Do
First Year:
- Design and implement AI solutions for sales teams across 2-3 lines of business
- Build reusable frameworks and playbooks for rapid deployment across other LOBs
- Partner with sales leadership to drive adoption and change management
- Deliver measurable impact: 10-15% improvement in sales metrics (conversion rates, pipeline velocity, rep productivity)
- Establish yourself as our go-to expert for sales AI
- Expand from sales-specific AI to broader revenue-generating AI initiatives
- Build and lead a team of sales AI specialists
- Define our sales AI strategy and roadmap
AI Delivery Director – Sales Required Experience:
- 7+ years in sales operations, sales technology, or related field
- Led at least one successful enterprise AI implementation for sales (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Microsoft Dynamics AI, custom ML solutions)
- Hands-on experience with sales AI use cases: lead scoring, opportunity insights, next best actions, conversation intelligence
- Track record of delivering measurable business results, not just cool technology
- Strong understanding of modern sales tech stack (CRM, sales engagement platforms, data enrichment tools)
- Experience with AI/ML platforms and tools
- Ability to work with data scientists and engineers to build custom solutions
- Comfort with APIs, integrations, and data pipelines
- Proven ability to influence without authority - you will need to win over skeptical sales leaders
- Experience driving change management and adoption of new technologies
- Strong communication skills - ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
- Project management expertise - you will be running multiple implementations simultaneously
- You have been in the trenches - you know what actually works vs. what is just hype
- You are pragmatic - you focus on ROI and quick wins, not perfection
- You are a builder - you would rather implement something good today than design something perfect for tomorrow
- You understand sales - you speak the language and know what drives rep behavior
