Netsuite Consultant

Netsuite Consultant Key Responsibilities
The Consultant shall be responsible for the following services and deliverables:
A. System Configuration and Optimization
  • Review and adjust NetSuite configuration including chart of accounts, GL segments, workflows, approval hierarchies, and custom records
  • Implement approved enhancements and manage configuration changes to reduce reliance on legacy scripts
  • Ensure configurations are audit-aligned and support multi-entity operations
Deliverables:
  • Configuration Change Log (maintained biweekly)
  • NetSuite Optimization Plan (initial recommendations by Month 1)
  • Updated process configurations and workflow documentation
B. Issue Resolution and Break/Fix Support
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for finance system issues (e.g., failed postings, JE reversals, RevShare misrouting)
  • Troubleshoot integration and script failures, working in coordination with IT, vendors, and managed services partners
  • Identify root causes for recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions
Deliverables:
  • Monthly Issue Resolution Report
  • Root Cause Analysis Reports for major incidents
  • Bug Fix and Patch Logs
C. User Management and Access Governance
  • Maintain role-based access controls aligned with security and audit policies
  • Coordinate user provisioning and deprovisioning in partnership with Omada, HCM, and IT Security
  • Audit and clean up admin-created roles and permissions
Deliverables:
  • Monthly Access Audit Report
  • Role Design Matrix and Documentation
  • Provisioning Checklist and Termination Workflow
D. Environment and Release Management
  • Oversee sandbox refreshes, cloning, and configuration migration
  • Manage deployment of tested enhancements and scripts between environments
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors during upgrade cycles or break/fix escalations
Deliverables:
  • Sandbox Refresh Plan and Validation Checklist
  • Release Schedule Tracker
  • Deployment Notes and Post-Release Validation Logs
E. Reporting and Audit Support
  • Maintain key system and configuration documentation for auditors
  • Support the development of audit-ready system-generated reports (e.g., approval logs, JE tracking)
  • Respond to audit and SOX-related system queries
Deliverables:
  • ERP Audit Support Packet
  • Change Management Audit Trail Logs
  • Custom Reports Repository
F. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Participate in weekly meetings with Finance Ops, Audit, and Project Management teams
  • Provide NetSuite insight during system design sessions and vendor discussions
  • Align efforts with HighRadius, Coupa, and Snowflake system integration tracks
Deliverables:
  • Weekly System Status Updates
  • Integration Change Coordination Logs
  • Configuration Alignment Reports (e.g., Coupa/NetSuite, HCM/NetSuite)
C.  SCHEDULE
The Services shall be performed in accordance with the following schedule: Mon- Fri, 8-5
