Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Job Description: Responsible for architecting, designing, deploying, and managing solutions in Azure with strong hands-on technical skills. Provision security devices including firewalls and VPN routers. Configure directory services access by implementing and testing the connections between the cloud service and the organization's directory server (LDAP, Active Directory, etc.) or, if specified by the architecture, the federation between the cloud service provider's authentication system and client. Upgrade client Azure Application Migration-Web App Services. Create Azure Logic Apps workflows and Function Apps with Private endpoints/Service endpoints. Assist with application modernization from Legacy IIS Websites to App Services for large scale deployments. Participate in all phases of Azure solution delivery life cycle to provide architectural guidance, influence technical architecture, and ensure architectural details adhere to Microsoft Azure standards. Design process for network connectivity between Azure and on-premises resources adhering to standards and security requirements. Create a strategy for establishing a secure and well-managed enterprise environment in Azure. Configure and manage client Virtual Network in Azure, establish our core services in the VNET and enable Azure to serve as a part of MLP's network. Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations. Test client application migration from Legacy IIS to Azure App Services. Maintain and ensure availability, monitoring and capacity of production and non-production environments. Design, implement, configure, and maintain various Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, AIP, ATP, ASR, Intune, AAD Connect, Azure Migrate, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Azure Files, etc. Provide infrastructure support, in Azure cloud and on-premises, on a wide range of technologies, including DHCP, DNS, Azure Active Directory (AD), Group Policies (GPO), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, IT or closely related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineer working with Azure. Must have experience deploying, maintaining and managing Azure application working services and multiple Azure infrastructure components, such as virtual networks, subnets, virtual machines and virtual network appliances. Must also have experience with Azure VNets as well as designing, installing and administering VMware. May work remotely 100% from anywhere in the US.
