IAM Operations Engineer

IAM Engineer I
Learn and apply foundational IAM principles to support daily operations while developing technical skills. Collaborate with senior team members to contribute to well-defined tasks and projects.

IAM Operations Engineer Expectations:
  • Impact: Support IAM operations by managing routine tasks like user provisioning and troubleshooting.
  • Technical Expertise: Build a strong foundation in IAM concepts (e.g., RBAC, least privilege) and tools (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).  Experience with JIRA is preferred but not required. 
  • Autonomy: Execute assigned tasks under supervision, proactively seeking guidance when needed.
  • Communication: Document work processes clearly and ask effective questions to clarify requirements.
  • Collaboration: Partner with team members to deliver on project needs and incident resolutions.

IAM Operations Engineer Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform user lifecycle management (provisioning, deprovisioning).
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining IAM tools and systems.
  • Troubleshoot basic access issues and escalate complex problems.
  • Document workflows, configurations, and processes.
