IT Project Coordinator Career Opportunity
Our client, who is a highly respected government agency is seeking a qualified IT Project Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Agile Solution Manager with tasks related to and managing the IT system project scope, goals, and deliverables. This role involves coordinating activities and facilitating communication between stakeholders.

IT Project Coordinator Role and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with project leadership to assist in business and technology initiatives, as well as management of overall project tasks.
  • File project documents and maintain central repository for all project documentation. (status reporting, risk management, issue management, change management, etc.)
  • Support in the development and maintenance of the project schedule such as tracking project changes, including scope and timeline.
  • Assist in the development of project status reports.
  • In coordination with the project team and Agile Solution Manager identify, resolve and mitigate project issues.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, meeting minutes, ensuring resource participation, and documenting action items.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, etc., related to project.
  • Assist project team in additional tasks, as assigned.
IT Project Coordinator Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and 2 years to 4+ years of project management/coordination experience; and the following:
  • Experience with technology development projects.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Intermediate skills in SharePoint and relational databases.
IT Project Coordinator Required Skills and Technical Competencies
  • Intermediate skills in SharePoint and relational databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and interpersonal.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Expert organizational skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks with accuracy, thoroughness, and consistency.
  • Ability to evaluate data and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to develop trusting relationships and resolve conflict.
  • Ability to work with diverse communities and sensitivity to needs and concerns of various cultural groups.
