Product Development Manager - PMO/Program Lead (REMOTE)

 

As a PMO lead, you will work as part of a program leadership team and high performing and fast paced product, client services, technology and application development teams to manage and deliver a portfolio of initiatives to meet strategic objectives.

 

Product Development Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
  • Enabling transparency and decision making across program leadership by providing communication and clear status across portfolio
  • Monitoring, coordinating and effectively managing interdependencies across several initiatives and projects
  • Establishing an integrated plan across all related release plans, initiatives and projects
  • Identifying/anticipating key technical and delivery issues, risk and mitigation plans across the portfolio; work with program leadership to resolve issues
  • Track and report program level issues and risks and work with initiatives team/leads and program leadership to resolve and mitigate them
  • Effectively communicate program level status to key stakeholders, which may include executive leadership
  • Hold project teams accountable to key milestone activities aligned to roadmaps
  • Make decisions and recommendations for program that are cleared linked to project' s strategy and objectives
  • Unify distributed efforts and own the plan to deliver quality outcomes for our customers

 

Product Development Manager Required Skills/Experience
  • 3+ years of management/tech consulting, advisory, professional services experience
  • Experience leading onshore and offshore development teams utilizing Agile processes
  • Prior Big 4 Consulting experience preferred (EY, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG)
  • A demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex consulting engagements, including roles that involved managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Effective people management, communication, presentation, relationship building and implementation skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and connect “ dots” across multiple workstreams
  • Self-driven and able to exercise independent judgement with minimal direction
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
