Storage & Virtualization Engineer duties & skill set:
  • Advanced diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • VMware administration responsible for configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and overall support of multiple VMware environments.
  • 3+ years’ experience: Administer and maintain SAN (Storage Area Network) systems, with a primary focus on Pure and Netapp Storage
  • Administer and maintain data replication technologies and system backups
  • Respond to monitoring alerts, troubleshoot problems and participate in on-call rotation
  • Extensive knowledge of HP BladeSystem C7000 and Synergy blade chassis infrastructure
  • HP OneView administration - combining server, storage, and networking with control of your data center environment into a single integrated management platform architected to deliver lifecycle management for the complete converged infrastructure. 
  • Ensure systems are compliant with security standards
